IELTS Indicator
IELTS Indicator is an online test that can be taken from the comfort and safety of your home. The test includes four skills – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, and you will receive an indicative score for each. Your performance will be marked by IELTS examiners and you will receive your result within seven days.
The Academic test is available for a limited time while IELTS testing is currently suspended due to COVID-19. Educational providers can use IELTS Indicator to help them gauge the English language ability of future students while IELTS testing is suspended.
As IELTS Indicator provides an indicative score only, it is not accepted by all organisations. Before you book, be sure to check with your university or educational institution. IELTS Indicator is an Academic test only and has not been developed for immigration purposes.
This test is available only at places where due to coronavirus spread, the test centres have been shut down.
For IELTS indicator you don’t need a special training. It is similar to the training done for normal IELTS.
IELTS Indicator test will give you an opportunity to measure your ability in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Universities and educational institutions can use IELTS Indicator for application purposes. All you need for this test is-
- A quiet & comfortable space to take your test
- A laptop or desktop computer (Mac or PC only, you cannot take IELTS Indicator on a mobile or tablet device)
- Your computer meets the minimum and recommended system requirements
- A stable internet connection
- Speakers or headphones connected to your computer (for audio during your Listening and Speaking test)
- A computer with microphone and camera for your Speaking test
- Please have your passport or I.D. document with you for your Speaking test
